I just read the book Nevada by Imogen Binnie, and then I read it again, and then I wrote a really short review of it. Read it here! I kept the review purposefully short because I didn't want to spoil too much, but trust me when I say I could've wrote like forty pages about this book. Seriously, if you're a trans girl, please read this book, I cannot recommend it enough.

On another note, yeah, it's been a while. I'm always saying that though, aren't I. My school quarter ended and I went home for the Summer and I had a major depressive episode, so I wasn't really writing that much. I guess I kinda missed my chance to write a review for Trials of the Jedi, which was really good, but yeah I don't think I'll be writing about it here. I did write some poetry, so maybe you'll see that soon, I just kinda have to revise it a bit. My Summer classes have started up, so (almost counter-intuitively) I have a bit more time to write while I'm back at school. That being said, I'm gonna try to get a job, and on top of getting back into dating again I don't know how much time I'm gonna have.

I guess the reason I feel like I always have to apologize during these blogposts is because writing is something I really enjoy doing. I mean, over the past couple years, one of my major aspirations has settled into wanting to be a writer. So it's more like an apology to myself rather than to anyone reading, though I am generally convinced no one is reading this. Maybe I just need to dedicate more time to the things I love rather than watching Seinfeld reruns for the one-millionth time. I love who I am when I'm writing, and I love anyone who takes the time to read this silly little website of mine, so I'll work on it, I swear.
