I wrote this song mostly on a music notation software, and this version is what I got when I basically just transferred it over to fl studio without changing much other than the bridge. It was inspired in large part by the kind of music I was listening to during my first year of college, mainly half-time, synthy indie pop/rock. The many time signature, key signature, and tempo changes were inspired by the writing style of my college marching band show. Specifically the addition of a 2/4 measure in the middle and end of the chorus to give it an off-kilter feel was taken directly from a hold in my freshman year marching show that I really liked the sound of. Vocals and more technical parts are tbd, though I have a general idea of what I want the song to say (but there's no way in hell I'm gonna be singing anytime soon).
